Simple numbered list

Steps

Application scenario of a continued numbered list, which is interrupted by a simple bullet list.

  1. create new text document
  2. insert 7 paragraphs with the following content:
    • A
    • B
    • Ba
    • Bb
    • C
    • D
    • Da
  3. put all paragraphs into a numbered list.
  4. move paragraphs “Ba”, “Bb” and “Da” to the second list level.
  5. insert three new unnumbered paragraphs with some content between “C” and “D”.
  6. put these three paragraphs into a new bullet list.

Expected result: Paragraph “D” is numbered with 4 still belonging to the list started at the beginning of the document and interrupted by the simple bullet list.

This application scenario is a result of an small session between developers of OpenOffice.org and KOffice, using OOo 3.1 and latest KWord trunk version (2009-06-15).

Analysis

Both Symphony and Plugin files validate fine. Not clear why some apps are having a problem with this file. This is one of the simpler things that can be done with lists Rob Weir 2009/07/14 20:33
